Twenties Inspired Styled Shoot (NC Wedding Photographers)

This shoot has been a long awaited one. We have wanted to do a styled shoot for several years. And we’ve done a few, but none to this extreme. The whole original idea cam from the fabulous Chelsey Morrison of Gather Together Events. She styled and planned the entire shoot. From the location to the linens…. she did it all and it was amazing to work with her. The shoot was inspired by the twenties art deco era, so what better location than the Kings Daughters Inn in Durham. The Inn has some really incredible decor from the twenties and fit our theme very well.

We had an awesome experience. One we’ll never forget. It was great working with these talented vendors. A huge thanks to all of them!

Heather and Chandler (A Burlington NC Wedding)

We were so excited to be able to shoot this wedding for several reasons. It was our very first New Years Eve wedding and we’ve been wanting to shoot one for a while now. The wedding took place at the Venue at East Front in downtown Burlington and was so pretty. Their theme was southern rustic and with the amazing talents of Chelsey Morrison of Gather Together, they pulled it off beautifully. It was a small wedding with just one bridesmaid and one groomsman which made it a very quaint and intimate wedding.

Thanks Heather and Chandler for including us in your special day! We had so much fun with you and your family and we can’t wait to meet your sweet baby!

Lacy

Lacy is one of our best friends and truly an amazing person. We’ve begged her for a year now to allow us to shoot her and she finally gave in to our pathetic begging. Lacy has several passions…. the scrap yard (this is where she searches out for “found items” that she can take home and restore and create something amazing with). Lacy owns The Elegant Relic in downtown Mebane where you can find the most unique items from furniture to clothing. Another one of Lacy’s passions is guns. She and her husband love to go to the range and spend a day shooting. So we had to capture her with her AR and favorite handgun. And as you can see she’s also passionate about fashion. She has the best taste in clothing and accessories. If you visit her store, you will see that.

Thanks so much Lacy! You were awesome! And thanks for being such an amazing friend!

Love, Garry and Emily
